How To Write Effective Headlines

Admittedly I just skimped on the title for this post, but the importance of a good headline should not be overlooked. I sometimes think that on the interwebs we are actually quite far behind in terms of our headline writing compared to the MSM. Take your average gossip magazine for instance; what do you see on the cover? Celebrities, top ten lists, best-of lists, questions answered – these are all great headlines that grab attention and drive sales.
