Either David Archuletta’s ego wasn’t damaged too much, or he doesn’t want to risk it getting damaged any further. E! Online reports that David Archuleta will not be trying to compete with David Cook and release his album on the same day.

david archuleta outsold cook, get your fact straight. archuleta doesn’t have an ego and he will not brag that he outsells cook by a large margin so far
Good grief. Yet another person who simply will not give up on the media-driven rivalry between Cook & Archuleta. Both Davids have their own fanbase who support them and many of them are crossovers who support both. I’m a DA fan, but I’ve purchased Light On, not because I like that genre of music, but because Aruchuleta loves Cook, and because Cook has been so supportive of Archuleta. As for David’s “ego”..obviously, you know nothing about the young man. He is the most humble person I’ve seen since Elvis during his early years. I suggest you do some research on the subject before you voice an opinion on it.
David A is the last person who shows egoism. Look at his My Space website. He has Cook’s ad to help Cook sell more on the website. He is the most grounded and mature person for his age. His rendition of God Bless America at the MLB playoff game was wonderful.
What ego? This is crazy. Archuleta has and always been an epitome of humility. He doesn’t even realize he’s that good. He’s singing for the simple reason that he likes it and wants to share his music.
About the release of the album…let’s just see the charts on and after November 11.
