Hard To Understand Some Things

Certain things make me feel like I’m out of place in this world. None of me can understand the massive public interest in watching the Olympics luge crash video where the guy dies. My visceral inclination is to simply run as far away from scenes of death as I can. And yet there is a massive public interest in it. Can’t wrap my head around facts like this.

I mean, I can fully understand public interest in sex scandals, because sex is fun. But watching a guy die?

Apple’s 3rd Market

I think Apple is clearly trying to define a 3rd market with the iPad. Imagine if every elementary, high school and college student in the US was basically assumed to have one of these things as part of the curriculum. That would mean that every US citizen at one point or another would own an Apple product.
