My wife loves Jon & Kate Plus 8. You know the show with the couple with 8 kids where the wife always nags and bitches at her husband? Well, apparently there are rumors that Jon & Kate are getting a divorce. Now normally I wouldn’t care one bit about something like this, but it sure is fun seeing all the women out there who follow this show with reckless abandon get all worked up in a lather of shock. How could the good Christian couple get divorced? I’ll tell you how. And women, please listen up. When a woman moans and bitches at her husband as incessantly as Kate moans and bitches at Jon, eventually she’s going to drive him away and he’s going to look for an escape. My bet is on the fact that Jon has cheated on Kate because Kate drove him away with her whining.

Women please learn a lesson from Kate: hold your tongue and be patient with your husbands.

I have a weird sense of humor. Some things that everyone finds funny, totally turn me off. Some things that shouldn’t be funny, make me ROFLMAO. And it changes over time too. Absurd or ironic violence (or even death) in a movie used to turn me off. Now, if done well, I can appreciate it.

I must confess to being a closet Lego fan. I mean, who isn’t? Besides The Goonies and contraband fireworks, the humble Lego brick remains one of my most indelible memories of childhood. My finest achievement was a small village (complete with airport) constructed after hours of painstaking work, which when compared to some of these Lego creations makes even my Lego property empire feel rather inadequate.

How many times a day do you use LOL when chatting? How many times are you actually laughing out loud? From my experience the LOL : actual LOL is seriously borked, as in, I cannot remember the last time I was laughing out loud while typing it. It’s a conversational thing, a stupid but necessary evil. However, this guy actually bookmarked everything that made him LOL for a full year. The resulting list is, as you would expect, well worth the visit!

Don’t you just love looking back and comparing what you can get today with what you got years ago. For instance, take this “kick ass” $3,399 Alienware Area 51 from 9 years ago: 700MHz Athlon, 256MB RAM (but that’s expandable to 768MB), 34 GB HD, the almighty GeForce256 with 32MB SDRAM and a state of the art V.90 modem! Wow, just wow. I got to get me one of those!
