You know the Internet has become something awesome. When we were all using dial-up modems, there were quite a few limitations. We tried to squeeze everything we could out of the 56kbps or whatever it was, but really it was tedious. But with the advent of high speed internet and broadband the Internet has literally become an enabler of all our information, communication and entertainment needs. We now watch HD quality movies, research cars, read jokes, order gifts, talk, chat, and spend the majority of our lives on the Internet.

Think about it: the Internet is literally removing the need for physical objects (physical stores, DVDs, video game discs, CDs, etc.). It is so powerful it is changing the shape of our world. You can shop online instead of going to Walmart. In some places you can order groceries and have them delivered to you.
