There are rumors that Michael’s death was partially the result of an addiction to prescription drugs. I hope that he did not die a lonely man, without hope.

Now that that is out of the way, let me just say that I feel bad for this girl Rihanna. First she gets beat by her boyfriend. Then she lets him back into her life (stupid, stupid). And now nude pictures of Rihanna are plastered all over the Internet. Unless she is doing this for publicity, and I doubt it, let’s just say that Rihanna will wish that 2009 never happened.

Apparently Radiohead’s experiment with letting fans choose how much they pay to download an album worked. ‘In Rainbows’ generated more money before it was even physically released than Radiohead’s previous album, Hail to the Thief, generated all together. That’s impressive. [Link: NME]

TorrentFreak reports that The Pirate Bay has surpassed 12 million users, which, given the huge publicity the site has garnered, isn’t very surprising. What caught my attention wasn’t the number of people giving the RIAA two fingers, rather the fact that they now have more seeders than leachers!
